2007 KTM 990 Adventure

Tires

When you have a bike with 90+hp that you plan on riding off road, tire choice is critical.  Thankfully that 90 hp also chews up tires quickly, so you will have plenty of opportunity to try different brands.  As such I will be compiling a table of the tires I try on this bike, hopefully discovering the perfect combination.  So far for a 60/40 dirt/street ratio, I’m really liking the combo of a Pirelli MT-21 Front combined with a Dunlop 908 rear.  Not only does this combo perform better than the Continental TKC-80’s, it also wears much better looking like the tires will last nearly twice as long.
